Ashrafi National Educational Trust (ANET), established in 1988, is a non-profit welfare organization that was founded by Seasons Group of Companies to manage non profit educational institutions in the district Sheikhupura. The reason behind choosing Sheikhupura was not just because of significant presence of Seasons Group in the district but also due to lack of availability of quality education in the district. At the present moment two higher secondary institutions are operational in Sheikhupura.
The fixed assets of the trust have been financed by donations from trustees who do not derive any kind of monetary or non-monetary benefit from the activities of the trust. This institution is functioning on a “no profit no loss” basis such that only running expenses can be sustained from the nominal fee charged. School tuition fee of both institutions is approximately one-third of what private schools of comparable standards are charging.
The institution has an aesthetically built well prepared and modern campuses spread over 144,000 square feet of land. Only 20% of the land is covered with building while the rest of the area is dedicated for playgrounds & sports facilities.
